EXTERIOR

____ Remove any clutter in the yard
____ Paint or power-wash the exterior of the house
____ Wash windows inside and out
____ Reseed or re-sod bald spots in the grass
____ Trim trees and shrubs
____ Mow and edge grass
____ Weed and mulch any flower beds
____ Consider buying and installing flower-filled containers
____ Repair cracks in driveway or walkway
____ Does the front door need paint?
____ If needed, power-wash decks and walkways
____ Clean pool and deck/patio
____ Replace burned-out outdoor light bulbs and clean fixtures of cobwebs
____ If you have a gate, be sure it is well oiled
____ Paint or wash mailbox, if needed


INTERIOR
____ Get rid of clutter; rent a self-storage unit, if necessary
____ Clean out and straighten closets, garage, basement, attic
____ Consider painting the most used areas of the home
____ Wash walls where paint is not appropriate (wallpaper, paneling, tile, baseboards)
____ Wash all floors and bathroom tiles
____ Remove any mold/mildew from bathroom; replace grout, if necessary
____ Shampoo dirty carpets
____ Eliminate pet or cigarette odors
____ Replace air filters
____ Fix leaking faucets
____ Clean under sinks; install fresh shelf paper if necessary
____ Straighten kitchen cabinets, pantries and install fresh shelf paper, if necessary
____ Clean cabinet exteriors, countertops and mirrors
____ Clean refrigerator, ovens and other appliances
____ Remove most items from countertops
____ Vacuum/dust furniture and window treatments
____ Oil squeaky doors
